INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions for OKFest Room Hosts:
* During the festival: Each of the OKFest spaces has approximately 3 Room Hosts. The Room Hosts are the interface between the Session Hosts and other OKFest volunteers/staff.
Please try to be nice hosts and make the Session Hosts and presenters feel welcome ;). You should try to make sure that the sessions start & finish on time and try to help with practical issues. In some situations you might need to a more active hosting role – in case the Session Host is late, or something else unexpected happens.
The Room Hosts should have basic knowledge about the technical equipment available in the space: projector, internet, lights, etc. We don’t expect you to be tech experts – the venue tech personnel will show you the basic things you need to know. If something goes wrong with technology, you can get in touch with the tech personnel.
You should make sure that at least one of you is always present at the space, during the programme as well as the breaks (since the sessions are prepared during the breaks).
